About Us

There are many quality learning institutions available where a person can advance themselves through traditional coursework showing how certain things are done correctly. This is NOT one of those institutions. We are not nearly intelligent enough to do that kind of thing.

Have you heard the expression, “We should learn from our mistakes?” We sure know how to make mistakes, so if we learn from them then that makes us some of the most learned people on the planet. We may not be able to show you how to do things, but we can certainly show you how NOT to do them.

Our mission is to grow a community of students and teachers willing to share their missteps and lessons learned via the ‘School of Hard Knocks.’  Stories are the best way to learn and we are tired of learning from only our mistakes. 

Please check out the site and let us know how our amateur mistake-prone selves can improve and learn.  Just do not be surprised if you have to explain it a couple of times – we are a little dense.
